Domestically useless

Hello blogosphere!

If you had told me four years ago that I was about to become a full-time stay at home mum, I would have laughed at you. Even had you locked up in the funny farm. But here I am staying at home full-time. Ironically I was the one locked up in the funny farm. Twice. Really. Not that funny in there. AT ALL.

I have two beautiful children , a 3 year old boy and a 1 year girl. I really delight in their company and try to sneak in as many cuddles and kisses as is humanly possible. I have also acquired baking skills and I sing nursery rhymes on request.

I have also fully embraced my imcompatability with domesticity. I try to bake but cakes usually come out burnt. I wash the clothes, hang them out in the sunshine but then take about a week to put them away. I also have an iron which is now a museum piece. I would use it (in theory) but that would just mean more work.

This blog is about my observations of life, toddlerdom and domestic bliss with a hearty cocktail of post-natal depression and anxiety on the side. This is my life… as it happens.
