The other F cliff…

I was talking to a friend the other day and he mentioned “the other F cliff” the Fructose Cliff. This F cliff didn’t get debated in the US Senate or in even a mention in the news but we all suffer the consequences of it especially at this time of the year.

You know how it goes. You’re sitting around the dining table after gorging yourself on Christmas lunch and then your toddler has just one sweet too many and “Bamm!” they head over the Fructose Cliff (previously known as the “sugar high”)

The Fructose Cliff is:

  • Ugly and loud (Your previously angelic toddler becomes a screaming, kicking mess)
  • Accompanied by continuous crying (tolerance level low due to massive Christmas lunch and wine)
  • Guests and relatives look at you to fix it. Pronto. (Oh that’s me? Oh. I blame the wine for my lack of responsiveness)

Did your toddlers hit the other F cliff on Christmas Day? How did you manage it?

Is there an S-Cliff? Savory Cliff? Cause all the kiddos at our house didn’t eat sugar, but ate a lot of savory and were hyper all day LOL. Glad you had a great Christmas !

You ought to take part in a contest for one of the most useful blogs on the
web. I am going to highly recommend this web site!
