What’s the difference between a SNAG and a CHOP?

So snags or chops? What did you find at your latest BBQ? I’m not actually talking about sausages and lamb chops. I’m talking in CODE.

  • SNAG – Sensitive New Age Guys/Gals
  • CHOP – Chauvinistic Homophobic Obnoxious Pigs

What’s the difference between a SNAG and a CHOP? Usually two or three beers.

I’ve been very fortunate to host only SNAGs at my BBQs but I’m sure you’ve met the types before. One, maybe two beers into the conversation the talk turns to immigration, boat people and queue jumping. As if risking your life on treacherous seas to get here was the easiest option…

What types of SNAGs or CHOPs have you come across at BBQs?

I love the Chop acronym! A girlfriend told me I needed to start a blog, so I was researching ones I liked for inspiration. I love reading yours!
