Foot-In-Mouth Disease strikes blogger! (Again!)

It’s official. I have been diagnosed with Foot-in-Mouth Disease. Not to be confused with hand foot and mouth disease which is decimating preschools on the north side of Sydney just in time for the upcoming school holidays.  (Well that sounds like fun!) No, not that. This is Foot-in-Mouth Disease (aka offending people without even trying to)

Diagnosis of Foot in Mouth Disease

  • Displays a strong tendency to say what I really think without passing it through my brain filter first. *Note: Brain filter not detected.
  • Displays lack of remorse for doing the above (also known as “being stubborn”)
  • The condition worsens with age
  • There is no known cure
  • To lessen the effects of the condition, it is advised to leave foot in mouth permanently so that it muffles what I’m saying.

Do you suffer from this condition also? Do you know someone who does?

My foot is permanently in my mouth. It has rendered me only able to communicate via my keyboard. If I had a web cam, you would see that it is jammed in here pretty good. If there is ever a cure, I am sure it will be posted on the WebMD site. Here’s to hoping!
